Tanja Schnitzer

Tanja was born in Athens, Greece and moved to the UK in 2006 to study a BSc Psychology degree at the University of Hull. Upon graduating Tanja received a scholarship to study saxophone at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where she completed an MMus Performance and Pedagogy degree. During her time in Birmingham, Tanja also worked on several educational music projects with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra & Jessie’s Fund, as well as in Special Education Schools across the UK. She moved to London in 2015 to join the Askonas Holt team. Tanja has a passion for contemporary music and finding creative ways of reaching new audiences and introducing them to new genres. Outside of work, Tanja enjoys travelling and is a keen trail runner, windsurfer, and swimmer.
