Mel read Music, Italian and Welsh at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (BA Hons) and Music at the University of Oxford (M Phil), specialising in early music. She worked at Glerum Auctioneers in The Hague as Music Expert before joining Harold Holt in 1995 as an Assistant Artist Manager. She became an Associate Director in 2016. Her hobbies include piano, bassoon, swimming, cycling, running, eating curry & drinking white & red burgundy.
